1. Rationale
Under the TG 7A.14 - D 445 termed the Grand Design Task Group, the Interlaboratory Study was conducted to Establish Precision Statements for Automated / Automatic Viscometers for the Purpose of Consideration for Inclusion in ASTM D445. There is currently an ILS #070 which has been conducted to address these proposed changes. The proposed ballot and accompanying research report will be balloted to address the changes.
