1. Scope

Define procedures and requirements for qualifying materials produced by additive manufacturing processes. Additive manufacturing technologies and processes are constantly appearing, evolving and improving. In order to ensure the quality, integrity and performance of material produced using additive processes, qualification procedures and requirements need to be defined, substantiated, implemented and maintained. This specification will be used by government, industry and purchasers of additive products.
