1. Scope
To develop a standard guide for use in community noise investigations involving multiple sources influencing the measured sound at positions of interest requiring the determination of the relative strengths and influence of the various sources.
Whenever situations arise where community noise measurements unavoidably invovle multiple sources influencing sound level at positions of interest, disagreements arise as to how to distinguish among the sources. A guide will minimize such disagreements.
