1. Rationale
Rationale: To review and change the new wording added to section 17.3 for circumferential indentations or other markings for feeler gage entry points to allow other types of indicators instead of at feeler gage entry points. There is nothing wrong with manufacturers marking in this manner if they choose to but there should be an option to use other indicators of feelr gage or inspection points. Some product manufactured does not need this requirement but contains other methods to indicate where a feeler gage can be inserted. To force this change it requires extensive re-tooling.
