1. Rationale
This standard needs to be updated with a number of changes. A major one is to remove references to thermal test procedure C201 since that is not a C16 test procedure and created a second table of thermal conductivity values, a situation which generated confusion. Hence, the annex can be dropped. In addition, the thermal conductivity values, using test method C177, are low and need to be raised to more accurately reflect todays products.
