1. Scope
The purpose of this specification is to provide for the components and minimal physical properties of a cementitious fiber matrix. The function of a cementitious fiber matrix is to provide temporary erosion control and soil stabilization protection.
Cementitious Fiber Matrix products are used by DOT, mining and private development of real estate. Specifiers and regulatory agencies need a material specification that states minimal physical and performance properties required of a Cementitious Fiber Matrix product.
