1. Scope
This practice produces the minimum criteria for the development and use of language testing of each of the modalities of speaking, listening, reading and writing for assessing ability in the ILR scale. It considers a variety of testing modes and those to be developed as appropriate. This practice focuses on testing language proficiency for general language communications skill.
