WK24118 Revision of D1160 - 06 Standard Test Method for Distillation of Petroleum Products at Reduced Pressure

1. Rationale

An interlaboratory study was conducted using a modified procedure of D93 and biodiesel samples, some dosed with prescribed alcohol concentrations to simulate FAME and FAEE processing residuals. The precision estimates and the modified procedure was agreed to be added to D93 at the D02.08 meeting in Tampa, Florida, December 2008. The research report is included as a separate item in this ballot.
