    (What is a Work Item?)

Developed by Subcommittee: D08.22 | Committee D08 | Contact Staff Manager

    1. Scope

This guide provides a resource for those designing below-grade waterproofing systems for new construction. This Guide discusses important considerations involved in selecting and designing details for below-grade membrane waterproofing systems on the positive side of below-grade construction. Detail drawings are not included in this standard.

The design of suitable details for the installation of waterproofing system is an important part of achieving desired performance. Failures of waterproofing systems are often difficult and expensive to repair.
