1. Scope
To more closely characterize the breathability and comfort of a whole medical face mask.
Currently a material test is specified in ASTM F2100 for differential pressure for a medical face mask. This is executed in distinct areas of the face mask. This is proposed to be more representative of how the mask feels when worn as the whole mask is tested.
