1. Rationale

The primary users at risk for Partially Bounded Openings are children 5 years old and younger who have difficulty accessing these openings due to lack of upper body strength and coordination. With the Partially Bounded Opening containing a flexible member, it further decreases any likelihood of a child becoming entrapped. Add to the Designated Play Surface definition
