1. Scope
1.1 This Standard provides one means for compliance with Federal Air Regulation (FAR) XXX.X, Certification and Airworthiness of Groups II, III, and IV small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS). 1.2 Applicability- sUAS are divided into four groups (I IV) and two levels (I II) of airworthiness. This Standard provides the minimum requirements for Groups II, III, and IV, Level I and II sUAS. 1.3 Units- Standard aviation units of measure will be used in the application of this Standard. These may be SI units or English units depending on the country of applicability.
It will be used by the FAA to support a small UAS reguation.
