1. Rationale

Add new Section 7.2.6.6. Add, new Section On stairways and stepped platforms, elevated designated play surfaces greater than 48 inches (1220 mm) above the protective surfacing shall require protective barriers. Rational: This will harmonize barrier requirements on stairways with the Canadian CSA playground standard.
