1. Rationale
Currently the General Requirements specification A924/A924M includes 2 tables of thickness tolerances, one for thickness measurements taken 3/8 inches from the edge and one for measurements taken 1 inch from the edge.The product specification requires the user to specify which applies to the order, The requirements has created some confusion. This proposed revision will eliminate the confusion by removing the table of thickness tolerance for measurements taken 3/8 inches from the edge from A924/A924M and adding it to the product specification as a Supplementary Requirement.
