1. Scope
This test method measures the ability of a appliator pad to pick up and release architectural coatings such as paints and stains.
Currently there is no standard available to measure a paint pads ability to pick up paint or release paint to a surface. The test standard will be used to evaluate the performance of a paint pad during application. Typical users of the standard would be manufacturers and retailers of such items.
