To provide a practice for obtaining representative uniform samples of traffic paint from drum and tote containers for testing
Sampling of traffic paint from drums or totes can be a variable process as some containers have a water float added and others have pigment that settles on storage - obtaining a uniform sample is difficult and a standard practice for this is needed.
