1. Rationale
In response to Item 2 on Ballot D08 (08-02), Mr. Warren Ketola submitted a negative pointing out that it is impossible to control RH to 5% if tolerance for temperature is 2C (see the Annex in ISO 291 for an explanation). Mr. Ketola agreed to withdraw that negative to allow the proposed test method to become a standard. This ballot is intended to correct the technical error that Mr. Ketola identified. Please support this proposed correction to the sections shown above.
