1. Rationale

This standard requires that current SRM 114 is used for calibration. But the current SRM 114 is SRM 114q and this SRM is too fine to be useful for this test; therefore, another SRM was prepared by NIST called SRM 46h. It seems reasonable to amend the standard to include this SRM that was developed specifically for C430.
