1. Scope
1.1 This method determines the total glycerin in biodiesel fuel (range TBD) by liquid chromatography. 1.2 Mono- di- and triacylglycerols are eluted as single peaks for each compound class and therefore could be reported separately as well as together as total glycerin.
There is a total glycerin specification for biodiesel. Also, monoglyceride content is of particular interest as a component in biodiesel fuel.
