1. Scope
The test method describes a procedure to stress ambidextrous gloves by abrasion. The glove evaluates the whole glove in the test. Glove Abrasion is quantified by water leak testing the gloves are the abrasion test.
The test is required so gloves can be stressed to determine how long they can be worn before changing. This test will be used by manufacturers, government agencies as well as the end user.
