1. Rationale
The ballot item removes the reference to inspection in section 4.1. While the inspection of concrete is also an important element in obtaining quality construction, C1077 deals exclusively with the testing of concrete and concrete aggregates. Existing note 1 following section 1.2 refers the reader to standard E329 for evaluation criteria for laboratories performing the inspection of concrete during placement.
