1. Rationale
The standard of the Concrete Plant Manufacturers Bureau was revised in 2006 to require CPMB member manufacturers to conduct a mixing uniformity evaluation of stationary mixers at a shorter cycle than currently required in C 94 and recognition of that is provided in Note X. The manufacturers are required to perform these test on paving mixtures (low slump) and regular slump concrete. The CPMB standards can be downloaded from www.cpmb.org
