1. Scope
This standard will cover the material, design, structural performance and manufacturing requirements for monolithic or sectional corrugated HDPE water quality units used for removal of sediment and suspended solids from surface storm water discharges originating from parking lots, fields and other initial point sources of runoff that outlet to storm sewer systems.
These units are now commonly being required by municipalities and there are currently no national standards for specifying the units and how they should be used, manufactured or installed.
