1. Scope
This specification covers the manufacture of concrete floor tile units for application as interior and exterior flooring. The concrete floor tile units described by this specification are manufactured from a mixture of cements, mineral aggregates (both normal and lightweight), water, and additives which is cast into shapes simulating natural stone, brick, terracotta, saltillo and other textures. This specification is limited to requirements for the physical attributes for the concrete floor tile units. The installation guideline requirements for these products are presented in C XXXX (WKCTI) The use of results from testing concrete floor tile units extracted from masonry structures for determining conformance or nonconformance to the requirements of this standard is beyond the scope of this specification.
