1. Scope
Define a testing method to qualify all acrylic heated windshields.
At the moment, there is no standard test procedure enabling aircraft manufacturers and transparencies providers to check that the intended dissipation is actually reached. To qualify a heated windshield, the aircaft manufacturers must fit the windshield in a aircraft and fly under the specified conditions and perform an empiric test.
