1. Scope
Provide guidelines enabling aircraft manufacturers and transparencies providers to agree on the way transparencies should be fabricated, QAed and maintained.
At the moment, no standard concerning the transparencies exist, hence each aircraft manufacturer have their own technical specifications and quality control procedures that sometimes dont match the ones the transparencies providers achieve (whatever the reason may be). A clear presentation of the manufacturing process, of the technical specifications of the raw material and of a standardized quality control process will make it easier for everybody.
