1. Scope
This terminology definitions of terms in use with cell signaling to facilitate communication and understanding. These terms may be found in standards and documents prepared by Suboommittee F04.46 on Cell Signaling.
A terminology document is needed for this emerging signaling field and for describing the biocompatibilty and other interactions between cells and biomnaterials/medical devices.
