1. Scope
This guide establishes recommended systems to assist fastener manufacturers and alteration distributors in the development of process controls which are intended to produce quality products in a cost-effective manner. These recommended systems allow an organization to continully improve operational effectiveness.
A need exists for a Quality Guide that may be used by small to large manufacturers that give direction on develop[ment of process-based systems that drive quality and continuous improvement. This guide will not require third party certification which is a deterent to many manufacturers.
