1. Scope
This specification covers deformed and plain steel reinforcing bars with a dual coating of zinc alloy and a powder coating. The zinc-alloy layer is applied by the thermal spray coating method (metallizing) followed by a powder coating applied by the electrostatic spray method. alloy zinc coating
A new dual coating process for steel reinforcement has been developed. The process is believed to provide a more durable product and ultimately a longrt useful life. A new specification is needed to cover this product.
