1. Scope
This consumer safety specification includes requirements for safe-use instructions and labeling to minimize the hazards to users of recreational powered scooters, pocket bikes, and skateboards. This specification is intended to reduce hazards, other than those inherent to the users of these units during normal intended use and within manufacturers’ safety guidelines.
