1. Scope
This standard guide will provide guidance for identifying standard specifications, practices, and guides for selection, placement, and lighting levels for site entrances, parking, walkways, and integration with closed-circuit television.
This standard is needed because there is currently no comprehensive, consolidated guidance for applying lighting for homeland security applications. It will be used by architects, landscape architects, engineers, and end uses in both the public and private sectors.
