1. Scope
This standard guide will provide guidance for identifying standard specifications, practices, and guides for exterior shielding such as blast shielding walls.
This standard is needed because there is currently no guidance for applying blast shielding walls for homeland security applications. It will be used by architects, landscape architects, engineers, and end uses in both the public and private sectors.
