1. Scope
This stadnard guide will provide guidance for identifying standard specifications, testing, practices, and guides for passive vehicle barriers to address selection, resistance, and safety markings and devices.
This standard is needed because there is currently no guidance for applying passive vehicle barriers for homeland security applications. It will be used by architects, landscape architects, engineers, and end uses in both the public and private sectors.
