1. Scope
This guide will provide guidance for identifying standard specifications, testing, practices, and guides for active vehicle barriers to address selection, resistance, operations, safety markings and devices, ancillary equipment, and maintenance.
This standargd guide is needed because there is currently no available guidance for design, operation, and maintenance of active vehicle barriers.
