Description

Withdrawn Rationale:

This practice describes a model for designing and validating performance-based, ISO 17025-compliant, standard test methods for the instrumental chemical analysis of metals, ores, and related materials. The principles in this practice can also be applied to the development of test methods used to determine the composition of other materials.

Formerly under the jurisdiction of Committee E01 on Analytical Chemistry for Metals, Ores, and Related Materials, this practice was withdrawn in November 2006.
