This guide provides guidance to laboratory accrediting bodies in the development of a directory containing information on laboratories that have been accredited by the body to a standard, such as Guide E 548.
This guide is being withdrawn because accreditation bodies who would use this document are relying on electronic means (that is, web sites) to publicize their scopes of accreditation. Additionally, ILAC has a very detailed guidance document for developing scopes of accreditation that the accreditation bodies can use. Therefore, this guide is no longer needed.
Formerly under the jurisdiction of Committee E36 on Conformity Assessment, this guide was withdrawn in April 2004.
