Withdrawn Rationale:

This test method specifies the apparatus, instrumentation, and procedures for determining unconfined compressive strength of intact rock core specimens.

Formerly under the jurisdiction of Committee D18 on Soil and Rock, this test method was discontinued in May 2005 and replaced by D 7012, Test Method for Compressive Strength and Elastic Moduli of Intact Rock Core Specimens Under Varying States of STress and Temperatures.

1. Scope
