Research Report RR:D31-1014
Research Report D31-1014 presents the results of the Interlaboratory Study used to establish the precision and bias statement for ASTM D2868, Standard Test Method for Nitrogen Content (Kjeldahl) and Hide Substance Content of Leather, Wet Blue and Wet White. The collaborative study included 4 labs who used method D2868 to analyze ground leather material at one or more of three different test portions. Each lab submitted up to six replicate test results for each test portion analyzed. The research report presents summary method performance statistics as well as the measurement data used to calculate results for the study.
