An interlaboratory study was conducted by ten laboratories testing one asbestos-containing microvacuum cassette sample to establish a precision statement for test method D5755. The sample set, containing chrysotile asbestos, was produced by allowing air-suspended World Trade Center dust to settle in a chamber and collecting the surface dust using microvacuum cassettes.
