Research Report RR:D08-1016
Research Report: D08-1016 presents the results of the Interlaboratory Study used to establish the precision and bias statement for ASTM D7654, Specification for Asphalt Used in Roofing Measured by Dynamic Shear Rheometer. The collaborative study included 5 labs that used method D7654 to analyze roofing asphalt samples in the Soft Point ranges conforming to ASTM D36 Type III and Type IV for their rheological properties. All results from one laboratory were excluded because it deviated significantly from the method. The research report presents summary method performance statistics as well as the measurement data used to calculate results for the study.
