The precision data for D4953 contained 15 samples, 7 were hydrocarbon only and 8 werefuels containing hydrocarbon-oxygenate blends with a range of oxygen contentfrom 2 to 6% and a vapor pressure range from 41 to 97 kPa (6 to 14 psi). Thevapor pressure of these samples was determined by Procedures A and B. A totalof 31 laboratories participated in the program, 18 performed Procedure A and 13Procedure B. Vapor pressure of the hydrocarbon only samples and two samplescontaining methyl t-butyl ether was also determined by Method D 323.
