Research Report: D01-1153 presents the results of the Interlaboratory Study used to establish the precision statement for ASTM D1155-10, Standard Test Method for Roundness of Glass Spheres: Procedure A. The collaborative study included 5 labs who used method D1155 to analyze the roundness of glass beads from a provided standard sample meeting the size requirements of the AASHTO M247 Type 1 specification. The research report presents summary method performance statistics as well as the measurement data used to calculate results for the study.
