Commerially produced dc hysteresigraphs are the predominate method of measurement of the dc magnetic properties of soft magnetic materials. The use of such equipment is covered by ASTM Test Method A773/A773M. The Precision and Bias statement in Method A773/A773M was not established by an interlaboratory study. Consequently, an interlaboratory was initiated under the asupices of committee A06.
