Abstract
This consumer safety specification establishes the design requirements for the corner post extensions of full-size and non-full-size baby cribs to minimize the potential for strangulation of infants and young children who may attempt to climb out of the crib. It also provides the required information to be included in the instructions furnished with these cribs regarding the potential hazards to children wearing pacifiers, necklaces, or any other items around their necks.
