1. Scope
1.1 This specification covers aluminum and aluminum alloys in the form of ingots, bars, rods, cones, nuggets or shot, designated as shown in Table 1, for use in the manufacture of iron and steel.
1.2 Units—The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regarded as standard. The values given in parentheses are mathematical conversions to SI units that are provided for information only and are not considered standard.
