1. Scope


This method is for determining benzene, individual hexanes and lower boiling hydrocarbons in olefin-free gasolines having a final boiling point of 260°C or lower. Results may be reported in mass-% or liquid volume (LV-%). The lower limit of detection for any single component is 0.05 mass-%.
