1. Scope
1.1 This specification establishes the requirements for round, rectangular, and square wire for general applications other than for electrical transmission cable. The alloys involved are UNS No. C65100 and UNS No. C65500.
1.2 Units--The values stated in inch-pound units or SI units are to be regarded seperately as standard. Within the text, SI units are shown in brackets. The values in each system are not exact equivalents; therefore, each system shall be used independently of the other. Combining values from the two systems may result in nonconformance with the specification.
