Committee Scope

To develop consensus standard test methods, specifications, guidelines, practices, definitions, criteria, and nomenclature for pedestrian safety for the fit and function of footwear in relation to interfaces, walking surfaces, and devices used for the evaluation of pedestrian traction. This Committee will encourage research in this field.
The work of this Committee will be coordinated with other ASTM committees and other organizations having mutual interests.
