Committee Scope

The development and evaluation of standard test methods, specification, classifications, definitions, and practices for leather.
The area of interest of the Committee also includes the assessment of materials used to produce leather and of the ability of the resultant leather to meet end-use performance requirements.
The work of this Committee will be coordinated with other ASTM Committees and other organizations having mutual interests.
