Committee Scope

The promotion of knowledge, stimulation of research, and the development of test methods, terminology, specifications, practices and guides relative to polishes.
The area of interest of this Committee is primarily the formulation, testing, manufacture, and maintenance of polishes for floors, boats, furniture, vehicles, metal and plastic. The work of this Committee will be coordinated with other ASTM Committees and other organizations having mutual interest.
